Sola is an innovative technology startup built on the foundation of helping those affected by natural disasters. They are committed to helping homeowners get back on their feet through an expedited insurance recovery process.
Sola harnesses the power of data to provide fast and efficient payouts to homeowners through a transparent supplemental insurance plan. By streamlining the process and cutting through red tape, Sola ensures that families and individuals receive the solace and the financial support that they need when they need it the most.
Sola struggled to effectively communicate their value proposition, mission, and services to potential clients on their website. They faced challenges with conveying the simplicity and speed of their payout process on their website and web app. Sola also requested us for assistance in developing a powerful brand identity to enhance their brand awareness by ensuring uniformity across their entire product lineup.
Sola entrusted us with redesigning their website, web app, and visual brand identity. We elevated their visual brand identity and implemented the new identity on their landing pages and web app screens for a modern, innovative makeover. We worked closely with Sola to redesign the foundations of their agent and customer portals to a more user-friendly and visually appealing web app. Then, we enhanced the brand experience by redesigning the marketing landing page. We built a strong, fast but friendly, and honest identity with a hero animation that conveyed a compelling story to make an impact to website traffic.
We had the privilege of redesigning Sola’s logo to reflect the company’s values and mission better. Our goal was to create a design that truly captured Sola’s dedication to serving people, so we used visual symbols to craft a representation of their commitment to placing others at the heart of their business. By merging the concepts of “hurricane” and “people,” we aimed to convey that Sola will be there for those affected by natural disasters when they need help the most. This unique combination resulted in a memorable and visually striking logo that demonstrates their innovative yet simple and honest approach. Our work with Sola helped them move their logo identity forward, enabling them to stand out from their competitors and enhance the visual appeal of their company.
We worked closely with Sola to create a visual brand identity that would elevate their brand and help them make a lasting impact in the marketplace. The client was attached to a bold orange primary color, so our challenge was finding a shade that would align with their identity. We spent a lot of time exploring different color options and experimenting with various shades until we found the perfect one that aligned with the personality and identity they wanted to portray. The shade was then paired with complementary colors to create a cohesive palette to enhance their overall look. We also replaced their old typography with a more dynamic and modern one conveying trust and friendliness.
Ultimately, our collaborative efforts led to a brand identity that perfectly embodied Sola’s desired image – one that was safe, caring, and honest in the insurance world. We worked hard to create a look that would convey a sense of professionalism, expertise, and speed and we’re proud to say that our efforts were successful. The resulting brand identity was one that would surely win the trust and loyalty of Sola’s customers.
To ensure that Sola could easily implement and scale their new brand identity, we created comprehensive brand guidelines to serve as a roadmap as they evolve and grow. With our help, Sola was able to make an everlasting impression on their customers and stand out in their industry.
We tackled one of Sola’s biggest challenges – creating a user-friendly onboarding experience for two types of customers – the insurance agent partner and the insurance-holder customer. We also redesigned the foundational elements of their web app, providing guidelines for the menu, nav bar, and layout setup for the screens. We conducted research to understand the best solution to these question in Sola’s industry. Then, we drafted wireframes and iterated on the web app’s login and dashboard screens.
Our design improved the app’s usability and provided guidelines for the rest of the web app, setting a strong foundation for the team to build on top of after launch. By working closely with Sola’s team, we were able to create a design that looked great and was more intuitive, and met the needs of their users. Our design helped Sola streamline their app, making it easier for its customers to use and for their agents to manage. As a result, Sola has seen an increase in customer satisfaction and retention, and they continue to innovate and improve their app with our design as the foundation.
Our team collaborated with Sola to redesign two landing pages for both customer bases. Our designs helped convey Sola’s mission and values while also improving their conversion rates. The improved landing pages were designed to convey Sola’s value proposition clearly and effectively to potential customers and insurance partner agents. Our design solutions included a clean and concise layout, strategic use of imagery and typography, and clear calls to action. The result was a significant increase in conversions for Sola, with a 20% increase in customer retention and a 25% increase in conversions on their landing page. We are proud to have helped Sola achieve their goals and make an everlasting impression on their customers.
Sola’s commitment to helping their customers in times of need was perfectly captured in the short, engaging video we produced for their homepage. Using customized illustrations, we created an animation that showcased not only the value proposition and benefits of the Sola app, but also the heart and dedication of the company. The animation featured a powerful story of a person whose life was devastated by a natural disaster, but Sola was there to help. The person could quickly and easily receive the assistance they needed using the Sola app, and the animation showcased just how fast and efficient the process was.
Through our design, we helped Sola stand out in their industry and make a lasting impact on their audience. Our animation left an impact on customers – it conveyed Sola’s unwavering commitment to their customers that will surely have an everlasting impression in the industry.
